About Me

I am a self taught , Full time Artist residing in Saltcoats in North Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. I was very fortunate to have a excellent Art Teacher at School who gave me a lot of art tuition and gave me great encouragement in Art . I continued to paint and draw since my school days and then when i was given the chance to to leave my job , i became a Full time artist. Selling my art into North America was a dream come true . I paint in Acrylics , Coloured Pencil and Graphite pencil . I specialise in Portraits , Pet Portraits and Landscapes. Telling stories through my Art. 

Broughshane Studio was created in 2021 as i wanted a name that was relevant to me . Broughshane is a small village just outside Ballymena in County Antrim , Northern Ireland where my Great Grandfather was brought up before he came to North Ayrshire for work and reared his family in Stevenston .
